Short Bio

I am currently the recipient of a LabEx HaStec postdoctoral fellowship (2021-2022) during which I will work at the CéSor, where I am already an affiliated postdoctoral researcher on the research project SHAKK where I work with an interdisciplinary team on a Lexicon of the Syrian revolution and war.

I am also a honorary research fellow at UCL anthropology and a visiting fellow at the MRU where I recently finished a one-year fellowship on Prof. Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh’s ERC and ESRC projects on Syrian displacement in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey. Moreover, I am an affiliated researcher at LLCP Paris 8 where I taught on the decolonization of anthropology and MENA studies.
